Where the park kids go to play
Ikenotaira has it’s main appeal in the large collection of park features built and maintained by the resort’s many park staff. It is the ‘go to’ destination for jibbers in the Myoko area. There are four parks in all, including “Happy Park” for beginners and “Ikeno City” for advanced park riders who are looking for bigger jumps and longer rails.
There are 5 lifts in operation and a vertical drop of 700m. The resort is serviced by the Mt. Myoko shuttle bus and also has rental facilities and it’s own ski school. There are several restaurants in the resort as well as a Kombi van that parks at the bottom of the “Capsule pair lift” and sells delicious kebabs for just 500 yen!
